What changes

From today's list (docs, private): the map's IP limit, + Device, site editing with VPN, an undo list, and UniFi port matching by IP.

  • Undo. Each map change stores the map as it was just before it (new table map_change, migration 0017; last 50 kept). Undo… lists them newest first; picking one puts the map back to just before it.
  • Edit a site. Click a site header: name, VPN to, Remove. VPN lines are now worked out from each site's vpn_to (top router of each site), not stored when a hand-made device was added.
  • UniFi by IP. All UniFi clients, approved or not, are read by IP (UniFi integrations only, never Home Assistant). A host, Docker host or hand-made device whose IP matches a client is suggested under that client's switch with its port and speed. Things already on the map show it in the details with Use this. Docker hosts now count as hosts.
  • + Router → + Device. IPs go up from 32 to 1024, separated by commas, spaces or new lines. The details show the first eight.

Schema 17.

Verified

On throwaway data with no Home Assistant items and a fake UniFi integration (gateway, switch, two unapproved clients):

  • a Proxmox node placed under the gateway gets the hint "USW-Lite-8 · port 3 · 1 Gb/s", and Use this moves it with the port and speed;
  • a hand-made Pi with its IP gets port 5, and its ranges are ignored for matching;
  • 1000 IPs are kept and 2000 are refused;
  • the VPN line is drawn after editing a site, and a VPN to itself is refused;
  • undoing three changes brings back the earlier sites and nodes, a failed change leaves no undo entry, and only 50 are kept;
  • the packaged archive serves / and the map page with no errors.
