Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
What changed
Moves the update source from the old local Git host to
forgejo.dom.network.backend/app/release_catalog.py—DEFAULT_MANIFEST_URLnow points at the new host (the built-in updater default).install.sh—RAWdefault now points at the new host.README.md— the one-line install command uses the new host.updates/versions/1.8.6.zip+ manifest entry, latestbumped to 1.8.6.The version zip URLs in the manifest are relative, so only the base host changed.
Migration note
HP_RAW,HP_UPDATE_MANIFESTanddata/update-source.jsonstill override the source. An existing install keeps checking whatever source it was installed with — to move one already running to the new host, repoint its update source or reinstall. This cannot reach it through the old source on its own.Verification
